Installing AI Chatbot - MR
1. Move it to Applications
Open the downloaded .dmg, then drag AI Chatbot - MR.app into the Applications folder shown in the same window. Eject the disk image afterward — the small eject icon next to it in Finder's sidebar, or right-click it and choose Eject.
2. First launch (unsigned build)
Why this build is unsigned: because develoepr account was removed
macOS Gatekeeper blocks unsigned apps by default. The first time you open AI Chatbot - MR, you'll need to approve it manually:
- Double-click AI Chatbot - MR.app in Applications. macOS will say it "cannot be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software" — click Done, not Move to Trash.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Scroll to the Security section — you'll see "AI Chatbot - MR was blocked to protect your Mac." Click Open Anyway.
- Enter your password or Touch ID if prompted, then click Open in the final confirmation dialog.
On macOS 15 (Sequoia) and later, control-click → Open no longer bypasses Gatekeeper for unsigned apps — you must use the Privacy & Security steps above. This is a macOS change, not something specific to AI Chatbot - MR.
You only need to do this once per version. Future launches open normally.
"AI Chatbot - MR is damaged and can't be opened"
This message usually means the download didn't finish, or macOS's quarantine flag got applied in a way that Gatekeeper can't resolve — it does not usually mean the file is actually corrupted. Try, in order:
- Delete the app and the
.dmg, then download AI Chatbot - MR again — a partial or interrupted download is the most common cause. - Verify the checksum of the freshly downloaded file before opening it.
-
If it still happens after following the Open Anyway steps above, open Terminal and run:
xattr -cr /Applications/AI Chatbot - MR.app
then try opening it again. - If none of that works, email support with your macOS version and Mac model.
Verifying the checksum from Terminal
Every download page lists the expected SHA-256 checksum. To check the file you downloaded matches it:
- Open Terminal (Applications → Utilities → Terminal).
- Type
shasum -a 256(with a trailing space), then drag the downloaded.dmgfile from Finder into the Terminal window — this fills in the path — and press Return. - Compare the printed value to the checksum shown on the download page. They should match exactly.
Uninstalling
Quit AI Chatbot - MR, then drag AI Chatbot - MR.app from Applications to the Trash. AI Chatbot - MR does not install a background helper or launch daemon outside the app bundle itself.
